Just back from the Canaries and what a laugh it was. We went to Corralejo in Fuerteventura. It’s off peak so the town wasn’t very busy which suited us quite well. So chill. Real cheap. We ate like kings and drank a fair share. Got to eat fresh sword fish for the first time in years and also tried barracuda (unreal). Got a beating from the sun though but the pealing has just about stopped by now.

The lads in the bar told us about Arehucas, a local rum. It was gorgious. They also told us that we’d wake up still drunk.

And by god they were right

We rented bikes and headed down the dunes of Corralejo. It was great. The sun was almost above our heads and it was incredibly windy. We took shelter behind one of those green mounds in the background, got our smoke on and headed swimming. The water was oh so good. We spent an hour swimming in the surf trying to stay on top of the waves. One of the most fun experiences of my life

We covered Bev in everything he brought with him because he KO’d on the first night but I felt sorry for him so I folded and packed everything back into his bag before he woke up

And of course it wouldn’t be Christmas in our house without the Christmas pineapple. Hope everyone had a good one

Someone gave me a HMV voucher for Christmas. What the fuck am I supposed to do with a HMV voucher? I spent an hour trying to pick something out but ended up just buying M&Ms, popcorn and coke. You see, you can’t download M&Ms, popcorn and coke
