What a night. What a fucking night. Hot blooded animals are O Emperor, but playing covers, and holy shit, they killed it. The only way to describe it is: You know when you’re on pills and you’re having such a good time and you turn to someone and say “My Jesus, these pills are strong”. It was like that but in band form
so Bosco did a show in work this evening. I was too tired to head down but Jack got a lovely picture with him/her. How could you replace this sweet childhood idol with the fucking morbegs? Bad call RTE. Bad call.

Just back from the Canaries and what a laugh it was. We went to Corralejo in Fuerteventura. It’s off peak so the town wasn’t very busy which suited us quite well. So chill. Real cheap. We ate like kings and drank a fair share. Got to eat fresh sword fish for the first time in years and also tried barracuda (unreal). Got a beating from the sun though but the pealing has just about stopped by now.
We were told to visit this Irish bar where we’d meet a few lads from home who could sort us out. It was the best craic ever. The lads were heroes and treated us very well.
We had our first smoke back at the apartment and holy jesus… All hell broke lose. Major giggles
The lads in the bar told us about Arehucas, a local rum. It was gorgious. They also told us that we’d wake up still drunk.
And by god they were right
We rented bikes and headed down the dunes of Corralejo. It was great. The sun was almost above our heads and it was incredibly windy. We took shelter behind one of those green mounds in the background, got our smoke on and headed swimming. The water was oh so good. We spent an hour swimming in the surf trying to stay on top of the waves. One of the most fun experiences of my life
We covered Bev in everything he brought with him because he KO’d on the first night but I felt sorry for him so I folded and packed everything back into his bag before he woke up
